With the designation of TÜV Rheinland by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, KBA), OEMs can now apply for certifications and approvals based on these UN regulations. First successful customer projects
TÜV Rheinland’s team specializing in vehicle cybersecurity is already carrying out the first CSMS certification audits and type approval tests in customer projects with well-known OEMs. In addition, the first projects on UN-R 156 (Software updates) and UN-R 157 (Automated Lane Keeping Systems) are already running.
